From 1932 to our days Quinta do Judeu has belonged to Alves de Carvalho family and its name is due to the existence of a roman Jewish statue on its roof.
Quinta do Judeu has been recently recovered and now it is a center of excellence in winemaking combining the latest technology available for the development of extremely high quality wines with traditional practices, such as grapes treading in granite tanks (lagares).
We believe the world becomes better when we look for inspiration, poetry and beauty in every single detail of life.
Get inspired by our wines and vineyards and marvel at the aromas, tastes and sights. Welcome to a world of inspiration! Welcome to Douro!
